Our Story...

BUMERANG is an Australian art-wear label inspired by Melbourne’s graffiti-filled streets, where colour, movement, and visual thinking come together in unexpected ways.

Everything starts with a drawing. Each piece is hand-illustrated, designed to feel familiar, thoughtful, and a little playful. These are not trend pieces. They are ideas you can wear.

At the center of it all is DOT, a curious and witty brain mascot. DOT helps tell stories about thought, emotion, and everyday experiences, inspired by an interest in how the mind works and how we move through the world.

We believe clothing can do more than look good. It can connect, comfort, and quietly say something about who we are, especially during moments of creativity, healing, or self-reflection.

Each design is made to be collectible rather than disposable, with character and meaning at its core.

The name BUMERANG draws from the boomerang, a cultural object associated with First Nations people of Australia. Early records show the word entered English from the Dharug language with varied spellings, including bumarang. For us, it represents return, reflection, and the idea that thoughts have momentum.

BUMERANG exists to spark curiosity, self-reflection, and small moments of connection through art and apparel.
